About Swift Assist

I’m Scott, and the road to founding Swift Assist wasn’t typical—it was built on 20+ years of real experience in operations, logistics, and dispatching.

I started in manufacturing—working as a material handler, shipper, and machine operator. That background taught me the importance of precision, consistency, and showing up when it counts.

​

I later moved into dispatching, spending five years handling taxi operations in Ontario and New Brunswick. It was fast, high-pressure work, and I learned firsthand that in this business, every call matters. A single missed call can mean lost revenue, frustrated customers, or a lost client.

After also gaining experience as an independent truck dispatcher, I saw the gap in reliable, affordable dispatch and support services for smaller companies. That’s why I launched Swift Assist—to offer remote dispatching and back-office support grounded in hands-on knowledge and Canadian industry experience.

Today, Swift Assist helps independent operators and small fleets in the taxi, towing, and service-based industries stay organized, responsive, and in control.
